Midnight Pieces, Ep.24 by Asiya Korepanova - Andante from Cello Sonata by Rachmaninoff-Korepanova

Catherine Yang
Asiya Korepanova Published on Mar 4, 2018 Rachmaninoff’s Andante from his Cello Sonata is a piece that you want to listen to over and over - in would not leave your mind and body. I transcribed the entire Sonata for piano solo because I craved to play it by myself any time I want, without depending on having or not having a cello partner. This slow movement of the sonata gives me chills on stage each time I play it, and I hope it will give you chills, too.
