Barbra Streisand Cloned Her Dead Dog Twice
Barbra Streisand apparently clone her dead dog twice. The star recently revealed, before her beloved Sammie passed away in 2017, she had cells extracted from her mouth and stomach to create clones. The clones are her current pup Miss Violet and Miss Scarlet, whom she dresses in those colors to tell them apart. They even look the same, Streisand swears that they have different personalities and stated, “Streisand says. “I’m waiting for them to get older so I can see if they have her brown eyes and her seriousness.”

And the plot thickens… while the singer was waiting for her clones to arrive, she adopted another look-alike dog, Miss Fanny, who is Sammie’s distant cousin. Now she has three dogs that look exactly the same, two of which are genetically exactly the same.
According to the Huffington Post, “When Streisand posed with her canine trio for a portrait to accompany the interview, she suggested captioning the photo “Send in the Clones,” a wink to Stephen Sondheim’s ballad, “Send in the Clowns,” which she recorded on 1985’s “The Broadway Album.”
We guess if you can afford cloning, true love never has to die, you can simply make a copy of it.
