Pooh bears for Japan skater

NTD
NTD
Fans and spectators have rained Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu with his favorite Pooh bears after his short program at the Winter Olympics on Feb.16.   Dozens of flower girls collected the Poohs thrown into the rink.    Hanyu finished on top of the short program ranking, with a near record-breaking score. Hanyu was known to love Winnie the Pooh early on in his career as a skater.   He never fails to bring with him a Pooh tissue box, much to the joy of his loyal fans. It has become a fan tradition to throw Pooh bears onto the  rink after his competitive performances.  Credit: AP and Gettyimages
